Gold puzzle ring c. 17th -19th century. 20mm diameter, 2.43g. Ring size UK K, US 5.25. A gold puzzle ring formed of three bands, the middle hoop is diagonally ribbed, while the outer hoops are undecorated. Each hoop is bent slightly outwards at one point to allow them to lock together with a twist effect. In Dalton’s catalogue (1912) number 645 is a similar example. The date is probably early 17th century. Treasure case 2006 T630.
