Late Iron Age La Tene III Nauheim type brooch. A very fine example of a British Celtic copper-alloy one-piece brooch, having a flat bow tapering to a narrow foot with pierced catchplate. The centre of the bow has chased rocker arm 'wrigglework' decoration and joins the integral pin via a bilateral spring of four coils joined by an internal chord. Smooth green patina.
