Medieval Dagger Pommel. Circa 15th century AD. Copper-alloy, 93.02 grams. 37.66 x 27.78 mm. A pommel in the form of a dog's head, possibly a spaniel and from a single edged knife like a hunting dagger. The details of the dog are engraved rather than cast which gives this piece its own identity, its very unlikely there would be another exactly the same. For similar see: Ref: PAS, LON-3C6C02.
