Roman bronze finger ring. Circa 2nd-4th century AD. Copper-alloy, 23mm diameter x 7mm, 1.2g. Ring size: UK S, US 9. Formed of a single piece of copper wire curled and looped back to back, each end is secured around the band behind the opposite set of loops. Ref: Guiraud, 1988. Roman finger-rings from Gaul. Type 6 fig. 37, no. 6e.
