Roman Zoomorphic Brooch. Circa 3rd century CE. Copper-alloy, 21mm x 6mm 4.30 grams. An animal type plate brooch in the form of a Rabbit. The body has an incuse design depicting two rabbits, facing one another. Traces of red enamel survive. A very fine example, complete with pin. From an old collection, found in the west Country. ex.
