Anglo-Saxon Sceatta, Series B1a. Primary Phase, circa 680-710 AD. Silver, 12mm, 1.13g. Diademed head right, trio of pellets in front all within a serpent circle. R. Bird on cross between two annulets within serpent circle. Ref: S.777.

Recorded with EMC as 2019.0227 where Dr Martin Allen (pers. comm.) stated 'The pellets in front of the diademed head are unusual - I have not seen this before.'
