A Renaissance Gold Finger Ring circa 16th century. An ornate ring formed of a slender oval band with engraved shoulders and a square bezel. The bezel sits within an escalloped collar with two recessed petals on each side. Originally enamelled and set with a table cut opaque gem stone. 22mm x 19mm, 2.3g. Ring size UK K +1/2, US 5 +3/4.
