Bronze Age gold ring ornament. Middle Bronze Age penannular ring, circa 1300-1150 BCE. Comprised of four circular-sectioned penannular rings soldered together. Associated with the onset of the Bronze Age ‘ornament horizon’ dating to circa 1400-1100 BC, congruent with the Taunton to Penard metalwork phases of the Bronze Age Ref: Roberts 2007, 7. Gold, 3.83g. 14.6mm. Ex J. Fay collection, found 1987.
