Bronze Age Looped and Socketed Spear Head. Circa 1550-1250 BCE. Copper-alloy, 150mm. A slender leaf-shaped spear with a pronounced midrib and two intact fixing loops situated roughly halfway along the socketed shaft. This type of blade is of Davis Type 6, developed side loop, dated to the Acton Park and Taunton phases of the early middle Bronze Age.
A restored item with visible repair, solid and stable.
