Late Roman QBS strap end. A very finely engraved bronze strap end in the late 4th to early 5th century Quoit Brooch Style, a type often associated with the Roman military. The strap end is sub-rectangular, tapering towards the terminal, with a circular panel at the centre. Above and below are addorsed pairs of beast or dragon heads. 52mm, 11.3g. Found near Basingstoke, Hampshire and recorded on the PAS database as WREX-AEACCA https://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/965864
