Large Roman Bronze Mount. Circa 1st century CE. A well modelled decorative vessel mount in the form of a laureate head of a young male, possibly a depiction of Claudius. The reverse has the vestiges of a single iron fixing pin. Originally found near Thetford, Norfolk c. 1990. 37.7g, 49mm.
