Medieval Gold Finger Ring. Circa 15th century AD. 2.98g. 20mm, 15mm internal. UK ring size, F. US size, 3. Formed of a D-shaped tappering band that widens at the shoulders as it joins the bezel on either side. The rectangular bezel is set with a red/orange carnelian, this is thought to be a later addition and not the original setting. From a private UK collection, purchased in Europe before 1950.
