Roman glass centre boss brooch, 3rd - 4th century AD. A bronze disc brooch at the centre of which is set a conical blue glass boss. On the reverse is a catchplate and two pin lugs housing the bilateral sprung pin, which is complete. 23mm diameter x 16mm, 7.6g.
