Eastern Mediterranean, Mamluk enamelled glass beaker. 13th Century CE. 13.5 cm tall. A clear straight sided glass of cylindrical form with a wide flaring rim, decorated in polychrome enamel and gilt with a band of inscription. Some cracking and a small hole in the side, very stable. Ex old English collection, property of a deceased estate.
