Pair of Anglo-Saxon Saucer Brooches. Circa 5th-6th century CE. Bronze with gilded surfaces, each displaying the same style 1, zoomorphic moulded relief decoration that encircles a raised centrepiece. The two brooches had been found individually and years apart, but on the same field and in close proximity. Copper-alloy, 41.6mm, 14g & 41.14mm, 15.52g.
