EDWARD DI GRA REX AnGL Z FRAnC DnS IB, Crowned king in ship with rose on hull, holding sword and shield displaying Royal Arms, flag with E at stern. R. IhC AVT TRAnSIEnS PER MEDIVM ILLORVM IBAT. Central sunburst in cross with lis at end of each arm and, crowned lion passant in angles, all within a tressure of eight arcs with trefoils in spandrel. Mint mark crown. Ref: N.1549. S.1950.
