Roman Glass Juglet. Circa 3rd / 4th century CE. 84mm x 72mm. A beautifully well preserved glass vessel formed of a flat bottomed domed body with short neck and an ornate applied handle. The rim is crimped to form a pouring spout. Beautiful mother of pearl like iridescence covers the majority of the glass surface. ex. Private UK collection. Purchased from R.G. Widdowson, 2000.
