Large Roman Key Handle. Circa 2nd century AD. An openwork trilobate type. The bow is in the shape of a fleur or trefoil. The central foil is topped by a knop and the lower two have a small cusped leaf on their underside. The bow springs from a stepped rectangular section base that narrows towards the bottom. 71.8g, 57mm. Ref: Crummy, 1983, p.126, fig. 142, no.4161.
