Gold Posy Ring. Circa 17th century AD. Gold, 1.91 grams. 17.60 mm. UK ring size, J. US size, 5. The outside of the band is decorated with a foliate design of scrolled flowers, leaves and tendrils in relief bordered along the edges of the loop with a raised reserve. The inside of the ring bears the inscription "I present the absence" written in lower case italics. Property of an Essex Jewellery collector. 2015T474. Found 2015, PAS: SOM-A4E5F8.
